CRIMINOGENIC NEEDS CURRICULUM
Criminogenic Needs Curriculum is a branch of Risk-Need-Responsivity Programming that assesses individual characteristics, traits and issues that directly relate to a persons likelihood of regression. Typically, these are structural elements related to a person’s life that led them to an initial transgression.
- Antisocial Values and Beliefs
- Family Structure
- Personality Traits
- Substance Use
- Self-Control
- Peers
Addressing these elements in a person’s life is paramount to reducing recidivism and providing meaningful and lasting behavior change.
Our Intensive Outpatient Programs offer up to 30 hours of in person programming each week. 80% of programming is evidence based and includes Decision Points, Trauma, Illness Management & Recovery (IMR), Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) and Criminogenic Needs Curriculum.
