LADC Internship Opportunities

Partners Behavioral Health is excited to offer LADC internship opportunities to young professionals looking to achieve academic milestones and gain knowledge in their profession. ​

Internship participants receive a quarterly stipend while receiving hand-on training by experienced staff members who are licensed in the field. Internship participants will be a part of the entire continuum of care and can expect to gain experience co-facilitating groups, screening and intakes, treatment planning, counseling and case management, crisis intervention and charting/record keeping. ​

Partners Behavioral Health provides intensive outpatient treatment, outpatient treatment, mental health services and medication assisted treatment. We are leaders in treatment for justice involved clients and offer specialized programming specific to this population. ​

We are proud to be one of the few providers in the State of Minnesota to offer cognitive behavioral interventions in conjunction with substance use disorder treatment. 80% of programming is evidence based and includes Decision Points, Trauma, Illness Management & Recovery (IMR) and Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT). ​

Candidates for internship positions should be enrolled in an ADC education program at an accredited school or educational program and is earning a minimum of 9 semester credits per calendar year toward the completion of an associate’s, bachelors, master’s, or doctorate degree requirements. Degree requirements must include an additional 18 semester credits or 270 hours of alcohol and drug counseling related course work and 440 hours of practicum.​
